Every year Pantone announces their Color of the Year. The Color of the Year applies to all things- makeup, fashion, home decorating, and of course weddings. This year Pantone has chosen tangerine tango, a bright reddish orange hue. The Executive Director of Pantone, Leatrice Eiseman, said of tangerine tango:
“Reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy.”
Tangerine tango sounds like just the color we all need right now…. But how can you apply this to your wedding? Voila:
1. tulips 2. red sunflowers 3. poppies 4. gerbera daisies
If you go the matchy matchy route, Dessy has a partnership with Pantone and makes a ton of their dresses in the exact Tangerine Tango Color. You can also get everything else that matches- ties, handbags, flower girl dresses, etc. Here are four I like:
1. After Six 6613 2. After Six 6620 3. After Six 6622 4. Lela Rose LR155
I’m so in love with this color! It could set the tone for a very exciting, fun, and relaxed wedding. There is no way you couldn’t have fun surrounded by all that bright color!
How would you use TANGERINE TANGO to brighten up your wedding?
