One the of the best bridal shower posts I ever saw on a blog was this one from Green Wedding Shoes. I love the idea of using a tea party theme for a shower! You could draw inspiration from the Mad Hatter, like these women did, or rely more on the vibe of Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette. Here’s some inspiration…

In college when my roomie Jessica and I threw an Alice and Wonderland tea party and I think the menu we served would work great….
Starting at the Chocolate Strawberry, going clockwise… with similar recipes linked where possible:
Apple Tart, Meat Pie, Quiche, Mini Chicken Salad Sandwich, Scones, Lemon Curd, Whipped Cream, Cranberry Shortbread.
Serve up these (or other mini treats) with a variety of tea and coffee. And don’t forget the Sofia minis!
